You may elect to be allocated to the Alde valley Group or any other group.  Otherwise, new members will be allocated to the Area and Group in whose territory they live. Some members join us purely to support our campaigning work and choose not to belong to a group at all.  Others choose a group in a different part of the County or indeed the Country.

New members allocated to our Group will receive a welcome pack and the latest copy of our Area News and our Group Walks Programme. Further issues are sent out when published. Members are encouraged to save costs by opting to receive these electronically and the Area News is available on our Area website - http://www.suffolkramblers.org.uk/

New VOLUNTEERS are always welcome to take up positions on the committee, to lead walks and to join our working parties.
