All Saints’ Church
Mention was made of a church on this site with 19 acres of land in
the Domesday Book of 1086. The ‘Parish Purse’ (a big iron-bound
chest) dates from the early 13th century. The fine brasswork in the
Church is in memory of Edmund Bocking who died in 1585.
If you have any further information you would like included on the
website about the Church, please contact the
Clerk.
