Having been on the forum for approximately 15 years, I believe in
everything we do implicitly. Over the years we have been able to
make a difference in the way we get dealt with by Babergh Officers.
It is because of pressure from the Forum that the documents you
receive from Babergh are usually in a format easy to read &
understand, If you dispute that, please let us know.
We have been instrumental in changing the way that Babergh Officers
deal with the bereaved, Is it working? I’d love to hear your
comments.
We have also worked along side Babergh Officers during the
renovation of the Shawlands estate and are continuing to help and
advise wherever we can in other areas. We have received valuable
training to help us understand the way the Housing Department runs
the Day to Day business concerning our council houses. Be it refuse
collection, repairs, rents, anti social behaviour and many other
problems that the officers have to deal with.
Our latest project is to help you get all enthusiastic about
children's playgrounds in the Babergh area. The money for these
projects has to be applied for from places such as the Lottery to
name but one.
We are unable to do anything without your help because we have to
prove that its a community effort. So when you see us in your area,
please make time to let us know your views. Everyone should have
their badges on to identify themselves.
If you are a person who wants to make a difference, come and join
us on the Forum. We know you have few complaints, so come and help
us keep it that way!
We are also working on the subject of I dentity theft and I have
asked for this to be added to the website
Identity
Theft - Don't be a victim! It is information on
how to protect yourself from this growing problem. Please take a
look, the link is also on the home page.
