In 2007 a public meeting was held in Bacton to
discuss the idea of a
Parish Plan and a steering committee was formed to
produce one.
Parish residents were asked for input at events such as our
'Drop-Ins' at the Village Hall and the Bacton Fayre to
identify issues that concern the parish, and in 2009 a
questionnaire was distributed to every household.
Almost 90% were completed and returned and from
the responses received we wrote a report that can
authoritatively claim to represent the views, wishes and
needs of the parish as a whole. A copy of this report
was distributed to every household and significant stakeholder
in December 2010.
Actions were identified to address the main issues raised by
the report and an Action Plan was included with it, which is now in
progress.
