An Invitation to All

 

Any potential new members are always welcome to attend these events - just let me know beforehand, please. If you want to have a go at bowling before committing yourself, you are welcome to come along and have a go at any of the open drives, where you will receive a warm welcome and advice on the rudiments of the game whilst taking part. For these drives suitable flat shoes, such as trainers, must be worn.

 This Years Events & Fixtures

 

 

The club is affiliated to both EBA and EBF. We currently enter teams in 5 leagues - Stowmarket & District - 2 wood (Mondays), Tuesday Afternoon 2 rink triples and Thursday Triples; Suffolk Area D triples on Tuesday and Ipswich EBA triples on Wednesday. As well as the leagues noted above, we enter some competitions and have regular friendly fixtures. The green is one of the better ones in Suffolk, with the club being used as a neutral green for county and district quarter finals, playoffs, etc..

We are a friendly club of approximately 40-50 members with a well appointed clubhouse, including a recently modernised kitchen.

Various social events, including BBQs and quizzes are held throughout the year.

Subscriptions are very competitive with other clubs in the area.

If you do not fancy bowling, you can always join as a social member and come to watch the bowling and attend the social events at discounted prices.

We are seeking new members, especially younger ones, upon whom the future viability of the club depends.

We are also willing to provide bowls training to newcomers.
