The club meets throughout the year, every
Wednesday evening
7.30pm-9.30pm at Wyverstone Village Hall.
Newcomers can try out the game for 2 free sessions, then ,
if they decide to join, there is an initial joining fee of
£5, followed
by a £1 fee every week they play (50p for under
16's).
Dress is casual, no special shoes required,
and all play equipment is provided by the
club
We used to play in the Bury East Winter League, but,
owing
to falling membership numbers, have had to withdraw from
the league, though we do still play friendly matches with
many
of the other clubs. Membership is open to all age grouips,
and
we currently have a range from 10 years old to over 80
years!
We are a friendly group, meeting for social as well as bowls
practice purposes, and would love to increase our
membership
and re-join the league again.
