years. Now it's a modern convenience store well supported by the
village and surrounding communities. Sandwiches, hot snacks and
drinks are also available. You will always receive a warm welcome
from Bryan & Penny Kirkby who have been the current custodians
for the past 7 years.

A traditional timber-framed village pub dating back to the
16th Century. 
Our bars are friendly, with guest ales and log fires. The public
bar offers pub games, while the saloon bar and dining area is snug
and quiet. We also have an oak-beamed function room available
which can seat 50+.
There is an outdoor seating area. Children are welcome. The pub is
a wi-fi hotspot.
