The Village Hall and
Recreation Grounds are held on trust for the use
of people of the Parish.
Many
local organizations use the Village
Hall. The parent and toddler group, and the bowls and youth
clubs meet here. There are adult education art classes
too. The Hall is also used as a venue for the village fair,
the annual village quiz, occasional barn dances and private
functions.
The Under
5s Group takes place in a purpose-built
extension next to the main hall. It has its own outdoor play
area.
The Hall has a kitchen and a curtained stage.
There is disabled access and parking.

The Hall is available to hire for functions,
parties, classes, etc. The Hall is £60 a day or £6 per
hour. Contact Jenny Jones, Tel: 01359 259609
The Hall
and Recreation Grounds are situated centrally in the
village, down a short access lane next to the
school. The children's play area is shared
by the school and the village.
The Village Hall Committee is currently fundraising locally and
applying for grants to allow for major renovation. The plans
for improvements and renovations follow extensive consultation with
the residents of Badwell Ash, which included a Village
Questionnaire and a Open Village Afternoon at the Hall where
residents, clubs, classes and groups contributed their
views on and ideas for the future of the
Hall.
