Bonfire and Fireworks on the Tye

5th November

bonfirewellalight2

The annual Barking Fireworks and bonfire will be held as usual on the Tye on Wednesday 5th November. The fireworks will start at approx. 6.45pm and will be lit in a controlled environment. Contributions towards fireworks are always welcome and can be brought along on the night (preferably 1 large one rather than a number of small ones). There will be the usual BBQ serving hot dogs and burgers, soup and canned drinks. If the weather is not suitable, a notice will be put on the roadside giving the alternative date.

Bonfire - material (only that which will burn well) is welcome from Saturday 25th October. When delivering material, please respect the Tye and do not drive vehicles over it if wet. Please also, keep material within the boundaries set. This is a requirement of the new Countryside Scheme that the Parish Council has entered into and must be adhered to.
