Reuben Pearl was a well known
Barking character. He farmed Top and Lower Farm for 38 years

Dr. William Ranson.
He was a surgeon
and physician, also Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for
Needham Market and District, plus the Bosmere & Claydon Union
(workhouse). His son Russell also became a practising doctor in
Needham Market
