Carpet Bowls is a form of Short Mat Bowls adapted to be played
in Village Halls. Although a degree of skill is necessary, this is
soon acquired and the game can be enjoyed at all levels.
The club meets in the Village Hall, usually twice a week, on
Mondays and Wednesdays, at 7.30pm. The team takes part in Suffolk
League matches as well as other local and County
competitions.
This year, members of the club have succeeded in winning the
Suffolk County Pairs, Triples and Fours and will be representing
Suffolk in the All England Finals.
The club is always looking for new members. If you are interested
in joining this very successful carpet bowls club, either give Andy
a ring or just turn up on a practice night.

PLEASE NOTE
During the season we will be holding practice nights each Monday
and Wednesday evening from 7.30pm at the village hall - unless we
are bowling in a match.
There are several gaps during the season of 2 weeks. This is to
accommodate the future rounds of the Joe Rice Cup or the plate,
whichever competition we are involved in.
