We are working closely with Barnby and North Cove County Primary School. They are following the Green Light Trust's 'Schools Rolling Programme', which includes educational visits and practical sessions.

An Inaugral Celebration was held at the school to mark the start of our project - part of the celebration included planting a horse chestnut tree.

A tree nursery has been built within the school grounds, and the children from Class 1 have collected acorns and planted them. When these trees have grown they will be used to populate our woodland.

Every year we hold a seed planting session at the school. The older children are also involved in weeding and mulching the tree nurseries.
