Awareness in Bereavement Care Course
To be held at 90

16 sessions in the autumn, starting with essential attendance at
the first all day session on Saturday 12 September 2009. This
will be followed by sessions on 2 further Saturdays and 10 Thursday
evenings.
This course is for people with an interest in supporting and caring
for bereaved people, it is primarily intended for potential Cruse
volunteers though other applicants will be considered if there is
space. It develops basic counselling skills to be used in
bereavement support work and is accredited by OCNW at Level
2.

Disposal of Plasterboard from 1 April 2009
Due to a change in legislation that prevents Gypsum Plasterboard
being disposed of at Landfill sites or mixed with other wastes,
Suffolk County Council has introduced restrictions on which sites
can accept this waste stream.
As from Wednesday 1 April 2009 there will be special containers for
plasterboard at Foxhall, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft Household
Waste Recycling Centres and only in limited quantities (2 bags per
day).
