Can We Always Help?

We want to help out with all reasonable travel requests and will do our best to help you, but our ability to do this depends upon the availability of our volunteer drivers and the volume of requests that we receive. Giving us plenty of notice (at least 48hrs) is always the best policy.
If in doubt, give us a ring and ask if we can help.

Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle

We also have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

WAV2This provides door to door rural transport for those without the use of a car and unable to use public transport. The vehicle seats up to 5 passengers or 3 plus a wheelchair.
Wheelchairs are safely strapped in by our trained drivers and passenger assistants using a four-point harness system.

This service is provided entirely by volunteers so each journey is dependent upon a driver being available.

Costs

Passengers contribute on a mileage basis, as for the community car service; the rates dependent on the eligibility of the journey.

Booking

A minimum notice of 48 hours is required to book the vehicle.
