THE
UNION FLAG:
Did
you know that the Union Flag
(
Union Jack) is technically a
royal flag and Parliament have never actually adopted this
as the National Flag of the United
Kingdom.
As our brave soldiers coffins are draped
with the Union Flag then is it not time for Parliament to adopt the
flag as the National Flag for the United Kingdom.
The matter has been raised in Parliament

details) however why not write to
your MP asking for this matter to be discussed further in the
Houses of Parliament.

1st September 2009 marked the 70th Anniversary of 'Operation Pied
Piper'
On the 1st September 1939 more
than 3 million children were evacuated from
war time Bombing of our cities. A Commemorative
Service is to be held at
St. Paul's Cathedral London to mark the 70th Anniversary of
the start of the Great
Evacuation in 1939
