1990

The Bentley Players came together again and presented their interpretation of  Cinderella.  We received a warm welcome back to the stage of the village hall from the audiences.  Colin Allington played a popular cameo role of removing a wheelie bin 'not for Cinders' from the stage.  This wheelie bin also hid Glenn Last and his water pistol from the unsuspecting members of the cast.  This was the last year for Mary Naunton and her advice and support will be missed.  Rehearsals were now held at Mark & Sue Ward's home.

Our willing support group was Ted Poole stage manager, Roger and Sandra Canning who had repainted the scenery, Keith Philips sounds and lighting and Cynthia Cripps music.  At the end of the final performance a donation of £100 was presented to Bentley School.

The cast in order of appearance were David Phillips, Ted Poole, Mary Naunton, Peter Bingham, Mark Naunton, Sue Ward, Victoria Osborne (played two roles) Karen Lightfoot.
