CHURCH ROOM / VILLAGE HALL
The Parish Council has been approached by the Parochial Church
Council with a proposal that could help make better use of the
church room as a village resource. The suggestion is that the
Parish Council could ‘lease’ the building, and it be managed as a
village hall (the main benefit being that grants and funding are
available to upgrade and improve village halls that are not
available to church-run properties). The next step is to form
a management committee to take the process forward.
If you would be interested in joining this Committee, please
contact either Keith Lilley (Chairman) or Allan Hall (Clerk).
(Further details can be found on the 'Village Hall' page of this
site.)
