Bramford Village Hall

Last year saw the arrival of new tables and chairs at the Loraine Victory Hall. These are all folding and are placed on trolleys so that they can be wheeled away easily after an event. This means that the hall will no longer be cluttered up with stacked chairs or tables.

The heating system has also been replaced, but in very cold weather the booster heaters are needed. These are now getting old and need to be replaced at a cost of about £5,000.  The floor is now in very poor condition and it is not possible to sand it smooth again or to make any other cheap fix. A new wooden floor will cost about £20,000. The committee will be seeking further grant funding for these works since all the saved money has been spent to get us where we are today

Smoking is no longer permitted in the hall. This is to protect the new paint and to comply with the latest legislation.
