A feature film cinema evening is usually arranged every other month.  The local film company MovieZone sets up a large screen and stereo sound system in the main hall for an audience of up to 50.  Tickets are £5 per head.  Light refreshments are available during the interval including popcorn.

Showings have included Shrek 2, Aviator, Sea Biscuit, Ladies In Lavender, My House in Umbria, The Constant Gardener, Proof, The Queen, Little Miss Sunshine, Miss Potter, The History Boys, The Holiday, Atonement and The Kite Runner.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to unforseen circumstances, our film evening on Thursday 19th June 2008 has been cancelled.  We regret any inconvenience or disappointment caused.

KiteRunner
Our next showing is on Thursday 19th June 2008 at 7 for 7.30 pm.  The film is A Good Year (run-time 2 hours).  It tells the story of a British investment broker who inherits his uncle's chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of his childhood.  He discovers a new laid-back lifestyle as he tries to renovate the estate to be sold.

We had a full house for The Kite Runner in April, so please book as soon as possible.

Seats should be reserved through Ian and Priscilla Williamson on 01379 388034 (up to 31st May 2008 only), thereafter with David Mulrenan on 01728-628063.

After A Good Year, we will be having a break until our next showings which are planned for 23rd October and 11th December 2008.
