Proposal
sketch for Bespoke Farmyard Panel.
This panel was installed as an Aga splashback.
It was designed using lots of different types of resource
photos: the client's own photos of their farmhouse & barns,
digital prints of their poultry & waterfowl, an old
black & white postcard photo of calf triplets that a cow
in their farm's history had given birth to, an old photo of the
wooden cart their grandmother had ridden to her wedding in, a
magazine cutting of their favourite highland cows and pictures of
their favourite trees and flowers. The scene is fictional but all
the elements in the painting are real and mean something
to the client, creating a unique, personal and functional work
of art in their kitchen that will be enjoyed for many years to
come!
