"Moat Farm" AGA splashback has been our most
challenging bespoke panel to
date.

A proposal sketch was drawn for the client,
including in the design their house, pond, barn, flower
garden, bird table and various creatures.
The client then decided they would like the artwork to
cover all the surfaces within the alcove, not just the back
panel, so a second sketch was drawn to show how this would
look.
Next, old tiles were removed and new base tiles cut to fit
the space. Then, using over 70 photographs, the multiple
panels were carefully painted with on-glazes. The tiles
were then kiln fired and eventually installed
together into the alcove.
