CAMPSEA ASHE PARISH COUNCIL

Dear Resident,

STATION HOUSE

You will be aware that Suffolk County Council bought the station house and garden to facilitate the building of the new rail bridge and until recently intended selling it as a residential property.

They are now willing to lease the property and are looking at various options for its future use. The options are:-

1. It could be used for commercial businesses by private firms.

2. It could be used by the parish on behalf of the community for community based ventures.

3. Or it could be a mixture of both of the above.

The Parish Council would value your comments and suggestions.

1. What use would you like to see the station house put to?

2. How should it be managed?

e.g. By the Parish Council or a private agent.

Please put your comments suggestions in writing and hand it to your Councillor.
Or e-mail your comments / suggestions, to the Clerk on

CAR PARK

It is planned that the garden of the station house will become an overspill car park for the station, providing 31 extra car parking spaces and 3 extra disabled parking spaces. There will also be a designated pull-in for the school bus and the mobile library.

Plans are being drawn up which will ensure the area will blend in with the surroundings. When the Parish Council receives the plans the meeting will be advertised.
