station2007
'Wickham Market' Station is actually in the village of Campsea Ashe!
For many visiting the area it is a shock to find that Wickham Market is 2 1/2  miles away.
With no bus, it is either a walk along a dangerous B1078, (there is no footpath beyond the village shop), or hiring an expensive taxi to take you to Wickham Market.

STATION FLOWER TUBS

The flower tubs on the station are kept looking good by Mr Steve Mitchell aided by the station adopter Mrs Helen Armstrong.
Last year they won the bronze award
in the 'Best Small Station' category.
The Parish is grateful for the work they do
keeping the tubs looking so attractive during all seasons,
and in all conditions.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the tubs
please contact the Clerk,
she will put you in touch with those already helping.

***
Several firms in the village sponsor the tubs
enabling us to keep the flowers looking good.
These sponsors are:
Dog & Duck
Dingley Dell Pork.
Kingsley Care Homes (Allonsfield House)
The Old Rectory.
If you would like your firm to sponsor the flowers
please contact the Parish Clerk,
Mrs Pauline Strevens  01728 748125.
