BBQs are either held on the allotment site or in a member's garden. The association's first BBQ included the opening ceremony for the on site toilet. Over 100 members attended and enjoyed a hogg roast.
Entertainments include bowls, table tennis, quizes, swimming and music. Catering is carried out by association volunteers.

Capel St Mary Garden Club

Capel St Mary Garden Club is closely associated with the Allotments Association but a completely seperate organisation. It holds monthly talks on gardening and related topics and social events which include spring and summer shows, a harvest supper and occasional visits.
