Disposal of Plasterboard from 1st April 2009
Due to a change
in legistration that prevents Gypsum Plasterboard being disposed of
at landfill sites or mixed with other waste, Suffolk County Council
has introduced restrictions on which sites can accept this waste
stream.
As from Wednesday 1st April 2009 there will be special containers
for plasterboard at Foxhall, Bury St. Edmunds and Lowestoft
Household Waste Recycling Centres and only in limited quantities (2
bags per day)
