This part of onesuffolk contains the websites of individual
councillors, grouped by the District Council they
represent. There are five levels of democratic representation
in Suffolk:
- Parish and Town councillors
- District and Borough Councillors
- County Councillors
- Members of Parliament
- Members of the European Parliament
Local councillors are elected to represent the views of local
people on a range of matters that affect our
communities. Councillors decide on policies and help manage
the Council's budgets and staff.
Councillors are ordinary people who give up a good deal of spare
time to help their communities.
