Jenny Antill has lived in Newmans Green, Acton
for over 20 years with her husband Nick. Her two sons have now left
home.
In recent years, following retirement from a career in the City
of London, Jenny has worked in a voluntary capacity for
Gainsborough’s House, where she edits the newsletter ‘On the House’
and is a Governor. Until recently Jenny has worked at Sudbury
Citizens Advice both as a volunteer and as paid Guidance Tutor. She
has recently joined the Board of Trustees at the Bureau.
A Conservative, Jenny was elected to Babergh in May 2007. She
currently serves on the Strategy Committee and the HR. Board. As
the Council’s E-Government Champion Jenny chairs the Information
Management Task Group, and is also on the CAST Board. The aim of
these two committees is to work with Information Technology to
deliver the best possible services for Babergh’s customers and
council tax payers.

Colin Spence was born and educated in Sudbury
and has lived in the area all his life.
He has taken an active part in local public life since first
being elected to Babergh District Council in 1976 where he has
continued to serve as Conservative District Councillor for
Waldingfield Ward (Acton, Chilton, Great & Little
Waldingfield). Colin is currently the Conservative Group Leader at
Babergh and still plays a lead role in the running of the
Council
In May 2005 Colin was elected to serve the new County Council
Division of Sudbury East & Waldingfield. His duties as County
Councillor includes the role of Assistant Portfolio Holder for
Public Protection and serving as one of the County Council's
representatives on the Suffolk Police
