Dennington is a small village in North Suffolk which lies along
the A1120. It is a pretty village, well-known for its Church. It
has a friendly, thriving community which is reflected in the
variety of activites and clubs.
As you enter the village, you cannot miss the
Church
of St Mary which dominates the centre of the village. Visitors
come to see the interior of the Church - some of which dates back
to mediaeval times.
Children from the village and the surrounding area attend the
Dennington VC Primary school.

The Parish
Council meets at least five times a year in the Jubilee Village
Hall committee room. Everyone is welcome.
In recent times, we have been contacted by those who wish to
discover information about members of their family who may have
lived in the Parish. Some years ago, it was felt that it was unsafe
for such important documents to be stored locally, so they were
forwarded to the Suffolk Record Office in Ipswich. If you require
any information, you can contact Suffolk Record Office at
Gatacre Road , Ipswich IP1 2LQ.
