SUFFOLK FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY
STRADBROKE & EYE GROUP

If you saw BBC TV’s WHO DO YOU THINK YOU
ARE?
You will know that tracing your family tree is fun and
fulfilling!
If you are thinking about researching your own family history then
why not take advantage of the Suffolk Family History Society,
formed in 1975, which has many thousands of members worldwide and
nine local groups active within Suffolk.
Your local group, formed in 2005, meets at the
Community Centre, Wilby Road,
Stradbroke and is keen to build on a good start and attract
new people to its monthly meetings.
There is a programme of guest speakers who cover diverse subjects
of interest to family historians.
Help and advice on tracing your family tree can be sought from
experienced and friendly family historians while the group’s
research tools and materials can be used to assist you in finding
and understanding your ancestors.
You don’t need to be a member to come to the meetings – all are
welcome.
Meetings start at 7.30 p.m. with an entry fee
of £2.00, which includes coffee & biscuits.
