Customer Service Direct

Customer Service Direct, a centre for council services at 6 Cross Street, Eye opened in mid November 2005. The centre has dedicated staff on hand to help local people with their enquiries about council services offered by Mid Suffolk District Council and Suffolk County Council.

People can pop in to the new centre to request information about a wide range of services, as well as getting help filling in forms, reporting faults such as street lights or potholes and paying Council Tax. It is also a shared local resource for people to access services provided by the Police, Social Care and Customer Service Direct under one roof.

Customer Service Direct is a partnership organisation between the two councils and BT. Its aim is to provide easier access to council services to Suffolk people, and to create cost savings by combining some core council functions such as human resources, finance and information technology.

The Eye Office is open 9am to 2pm & 3pm to 5pm from Mondays to Fridays. 

The CSD Contact Centre can be contacted on 0845 606 6067 from 8.30 am to 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays and from 9am to 1 pm on Saturdays.
