Competitions

Inter-Village Sports.  Annually, around 8 local villages compete across a wide range of events in this good natured competition. The activities extend beyond those provided by clubs above and include athletics, swimming, as well as fun items. The Playing Field Management Committee organise this event and teams of competitors are drawn up by Committee members. A large number of villagers old and young take part. Each village hosts it in turn and this year it was Stradbroke's responsibility.
Some sports clubs, for both youngsters and adults, can be found on the Organisations page.
