Friston Village Hall is a welcoming and comfortable venue for events, group bookings and private parties at very reasonable rates. It was awarded second place in the “Village Hall of the Year” competition in 2005.

Although the hall had been extensively refurbished some little time ago, since the adjacent photogragh was taken there has been a new insulated false-ceiling installed in the main hall which has improved both heating and acoustics. A new false-ceiling is also planned for the kitchen/meeting room in the near future. The hall offers modern catering facilities and full disabled access. It is licensed to accommodate up to 85 persons.


                       We are now pleased to announce that we are also in a

                          position to accept  commercial bookings as well.

We currently have spaces for bookings on a regular basis and for one-off events and would welcome inspection from prospective hirers. For further information please contact the Bookings Secretary.

Commercial bookings: Price upon application

Local private parties: £30 (plus £20 returnable deposit)

Refreshments following a funeral: £12.00

Non-village events: £15 Summer and £20 Winter

Non-village parties: £35 (plus £20 returnable deposit)
