Saturday 24th Great Barton Open Morning & Film Festival ~ more details of this event later but Great Barton has been awarded £475 to be part of "Suffolk Open Weekend" event which will take part on the 23rd 24th & 25th of July all over Suffolk. The event is all part of the London 2012 Olympic celebrations.  Currently the plan is for GBFN to screen three films that day, all free, one aimed at children, one at families  and one for an adult audience. During the morning GBFN will host a open morning in the village hall where all the village's clubs and societies will be invited to attend, Free refreshments will be available to all visitors.
