At the
Suffolk A.C.R.E. (Action with Communities in Rural England) village
hall conference held on 10th November 2007 Great
Barton was declared winner of the
Suffolk A.C.R.E.
“ Village Hall of the Year Award 2007”
Judging took place during October when all aspects of village
hall facilities and activities were considered.
This is a great honour for Great Barton and it will help us to
promote even further the activities and facilities we have within
our own community.
A cheque for £100 was also awarded that will be used to help
provide a notice board we are having made and will be installed
outside the main entrance doors.
The award certificate is displayed in the main hall.
Without your help and support throughout the year we could not
have achieved this award.
Thank you to
everyone!
