On 16th January 2010 six year old Finn Webber offically opened the newly updated playground.  A letter in 2007, from the then 3 year old Finn, to Parish Councillor Kate Trevitt started the project. Kate was successful in getting £29,500 in grants from Havebury Housing Partnership, St. Edmunsbury Borough Council, the Corporate Regeneration Fund, Community Chest, parish council and local residents.
