Botesdale Methodist Chapel
This is a flint building with a brick front and is a typical design for non-conformist chapels of the period. The current chapel was rebuilt in 1907 after the original one, which dated from the first part of the 19th century, was destroyed by fire.

St Mary's Church Rickinghall Superior
This is the Church of St Mary which stands on a hill just off the A143 Rickinghall & Botesdale Bypass. It is now classed as redundant so has limited services.
St Mary's Church, Hinderclay.
This is the parish church of St Mary in the centre of Hinderclay. Parts of the church are thought to date back to Norman times.
St Mary's Well, Hinderclay
St Mary's Well is in a meadow to the north of the Village of Hinderclay. It is located to the south of the church at Thelnetham near to the junction of the Hinderclay/Thelnetham road and Fen Lane.It is not too far from the River Little Ouse and can be reached from the Angles Way long distance footpath. This site was rediscovered & refurbished by the Heritage Circle in the early 1990's and they have maintained it ever since.

Another example of a traditional thatched cottage, this time in the village of Redgrave.
The Street
This is a view of 'The Street'. It runs through Rickinghall and Botesdale. It was once a very busy A road but fortunately has been bypassed in the latter part of the last century. There are many traditional old buildings alongside with shops (some still in business) and hostelries. It also passes the Market Place which held a small local market up to the early part of the last century.
