The Parish Council has a number of responsibilities

In addition to the cemetary maintenance & management, the Parish Council employs a litter picker to help keep the villages tidy.

We are also a statutory consultee for local planning matters. This means that local planning applications which are submitted to St Edmundsbury Borough Council can be commented on by the Parish Council. These comments may be taken into account during the Borough planning meetings.  

The Parish Council is also able to make small grants to local organisations.

Our monthly meetings normally have attendees from Suffolk County Council, St Edmundsbury Borough Council and the Police.

Members of the public are always welcome to attend our meetings.
