
Explanation of the Symbolism
The church on the left is All Saints. The two Romans represent the many legions who occupied Norfolk and Suffolk. The water wheel represents the mill which is still working but not powered by water any more. The church on the right is St James. The head in the centre is that of the Archdeacon of Sudbury and the centre figure is Bodicea
