WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
ISCRE is a partner in
Prosper, a Single Regeneration Challenge Fund to improve the
economic prospects of Suffolk's black and minority ethnic
population.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work closely with
statutory, private, voluntary organisations and individuals in
achieving our objectives. Our aim is to influence national and
local policies in addressing the needs of black and minority ethnic
people. Our major partners are local authorities, MENTER, Suffolk
Constabulary, voluntary and community organisations.
NATIONAL POLICIES
ISCRE is one of a number of
similar Racial Equality Councils established in Britain, that carry
out nationally agreed policies as directed by the Commission for
racial Equality and which focus on the needs of the local
community.
WORKING TOGETHER
Equality is an issue, which
affects all of us and not ISCRE alone. That is why partnership work
is important to us. The cost of discrimination is very high, but
the means of preventing it is cost effective, reasonable, realistic
and achievable. So why don't you work with ISCRE to achieve race
equality?
