Church yard Tidy.
A big thank you to all who came to help tidy the churchyard on
Saturday 1st November. This year twelve people spent the
morning strimming, raking, weeding and tidying. You can see
some photos on the Gallery
page. Or you can see the results for yourself next time you
are passing the church.
Shoeboxes for Romania
Thank you to everyone who filled a shoebox (or
more than one) for the Link Romania charity this year. In
total, twenty boxes were sent from Kettleburgh. They will
soon be on their way to their destination – a family
in Romania. Simple items that we take for granted – shampoo,
scissors, hats and gloves – will mean so much to those families who
have so little, and whose lives are so hard. This year, special
thanks come also from Lacri, a Romanian man I met who is in
England for a short while. He wanted the
appreciation of his people to be known. He will be back in Romania
in time for Christmas.
