Lackford Community Council is a registered charity which has been set up by the village to promote social welfare, provide and maintain community ammenities and provide a focus for social and community events and projects.

The committee hold an Annual General meeting each September and quarterly committee meetings. Although there are only four officers, anyone within the village community may attend the meetings and often many other village members are called upon to provide help, expertise and organisational assistance for our community events and projects.
