Welcome to Langer School Website.  We have a vision of what we want for our school.

• To provide a secure and happy environment that encourages a positive attitude towards learning.
• To provide an exciting curriculum that engages and motivates all children.
• To deliver the curriculum through a dynamic and interactive approach.
• To provide consistent and fair discipline with clearly defined boundaries, supported by all staff and parents/carers.

Half term is from 27 -31st October and then we breakup for Christmas on the 19th December.  Children are expected to attend school during term times and any absence other than illness should be discussed, in advance, with the Headteacher.


We got the result of our recent Ofsted inspection and Langer Primary School is officially classed as a GOOD school. The report can be accessed FinalReportMay2008.pdf  

The mission statement for Langer Primary School is to develop the knowledge, skills and self confidence of our children in a joyful and enthusiastic environment.  Thus, this school operates on the basis that 'every child matters' and we celebrate childrens successes in all areas.


We are confident that Langer School offers its pupils an excellent level of education.
