The National Curriculum falls into distinct subjects, but common
themes also run through several areas of learning, for example
‘Healthy Living’ and ‘Rules and Responsibilities’.
National guidelines, known as the ‘Foundation Curriculum’, set a
framework for 3 – 5 year olds (ie. to the end of Reception Year).
Our Nursery Brochure provides information about the five areas of
learning which make up the Foundation Curriculum.
