At Langer School
we use the Suffolk Agreed Syllabus For Religious Education when
planning work at all key stages. The central purpose of Religious
Education is to help pupils understand the nature and influence of
different beliefs. We do not instruct pupils with a bias toward any
faith nor in favour of any denomination. We do seek to help
children understand what faith means to different individuals and
their communities.
If they so wish, parents may ask for their children to be totally
or partially withdrawn from Religious Education and Collective
Worship.
