Parents, teachers and friends of the school provide very effective support through FOLSA – the Friends of Langer School Association.  Formed in 1978, FOLSA raises considerable sums of money for the school each year.  This financial contribution means that the children can enjoy many educational benefits which otherwise would not have been possible.

It is appreciated that not all parents are in a position to participate in every activity, but each contribution is greatly appreciated and makes a real difference. While some may choose to help through the FOLSA Committee, many parents support the Association in practical ways – making cakes, providing items for sale and donating raffle prizes.

Help is always needed and with more offers of assistance we can achieve more.  As children move on to the next school their parent support of FOLSA often dwindles and this is the current situation.  We struggled to get enough helpers to run the disco last school year and we want to do better this year.
