It is essential that we set and achieve high
standards of behaviour as a school community. Children can only
benefit fully from school life within a caring and secure setting.
All individuals therefore hold both rights and
responsibilities.
As children mature, it is essential that they
come to understand what it means to work within a community. The
partnership between home and school is a most valuable asset in
promoting the school’s standards of behaviour. Parents will receive
a copy of our behaviour guidelines when their child starts
school.
The children are fully involved in determining
our high standards and expectations of behaviour through regular
class and individual discussions. Parents are kept informed of
“Rules, Rewards and Consequences” at the beginning of each school
year.
PROBLEM SOLVING
If parents have any concerns, worries or queries,
please come and discuss the problem amicably. Instances of parents
shouting at members of staff in front of children are very
disappointing, do not set a good example, and shouting does not
help resolve the
issue.
