A nourishing, well balanced midday
meal is cooked on the premises and is available to children at a
cost of £1.80. Meals need to be paid for in advance on Monday
morning.
Cash or cheque (made out to Suffolk County Council) should be sent
in an envelope or container clearly marked with the child's
name. If the child is absent later in the week payment will
be automatically credited so that less money need be sent on the
next occasion.
Free meals are available to children whose parents receive Income
support or Job Seeker's Allowance. If you wish to apply for
free meals further information is available from the school office
or from the Area Education Office. Completed forms should be
sent to the Area Education Office and will be processed in
the fullest confidence.
Children whose parents do not wish to have a school meal may bring
in a packed lunch. If you wish to send a cold drink,
please ensure it is in an unbreakable and well sealed
container. Please note Fizzy Drinks are not
allowed.
Please ask at the office if you would like to raise any issues
about your child and school
lunch.
