In our school we follow the Suffolk Agreed Syllabus, which
provides a broad and stimulating approach to collective worship and
religious education. While we seek to promote understanding of many
faiths, our assemblies include collective worship that is broadly
Christian in content. Our approach is non-denominational in
character.
However, parents may withdraw their children from acts of
worship and from religious education. Reasons for withdrawal do not
have to be given, but parents would need to notify the headteacher
of their wishes, preferably in writing. Assemblies themselves
provide an important and exciting focal point in the life of the
school. On a number of occasions in the year, parents are warmly
invited to join
us.
