Induction
At this session an information
booklet will be filled in with the child and the staff.
What to
wear
In order to feel free to explore and
experiment with all kinds of materials, including messy ones, it is
best to
send children dressed
in clothes which are easily washable or not too new. Equally
clothing should be simple so that children can go to the
toilet when they want to and to put on and take off outdoor
clothes without being too dependent on other people’s help. We
also have our own red sweatshirts and t-shirts, which are
available to buy at a very reasonable cost.
Free
sessions
We are registered with Suffolk Early
Years Development. This means that all 3 and 4 year olds are
entitled to free pre-school education, qualifying either by age or
circumstance. This amounts to 5 sessions per week. We also offer a
"taster day" which is free of charge. Please ask the chairman
for details.
Book Bag and Clothing
Bag
We would ask you to purchase an
inexpensive, durable book bag when your child starts with
pre-school in order to protect any books borrowed from our
library.
We ask that children attending
pre-school bring a spare change of clothes with them in case of
accidents. We have a clothing bag available which can be named and
left at pre-school for this
purpose.
