A WARM WELCOME from
the Leavenheath Parish Council
 Our special village is
situated within and adjacent to the Dedham Vale Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty, approximately midway between
Colchester and Sudbury on the A134. We are within the Stour
Valley Ward of Babergh District .
Our voting population is close to 1300. A fuller
description of the village, it's history, its activities and an
events schedule is provided at
www.leavenheath.org. 
This Parish Council website focusses solely on widening contact
with our Councillors and Clerk, and will include the posting of
notices oif meetings, of agendas and approved minutes. Council
meetalngs are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month
from 8pm in the Leavenheath Village Hall Committee Room
