Sea Scout Group

We have more than 90 boys and girls across the Beavers, Cubs and Scout units. Our membership is centred on Levington, Nacton and Bucklesham, although several scouts come from further afield.

As would be expected we take part in many traditional Scout activities such as camping, cooking on fires and canoeing.

We are keen to welcome new members. Scouts can join at any time but at times a waiting list is in operation for Beavers and Cubs.

Adult helpers who enjoy working with young people are keenly sought as this improves the quality of our programmes and directly affects the size of each group.

We are within Orwell District, which is part of the Suffolk Scouts

Beaver Colony (6-8 Years);
Mondays: 17:20 to 18:35 in Nacton Village Hall

Cub Pack (8-10.5 Years);
Mondays: 18:40 to 20:15 in Nacton Village Hall

Scout Troop (10.5 to 14 Years);
Thursdays: 19:00 to 20:45 in Levington Village Hall

Explorer Unit (14-18 Years);
Thursdays: 19:30 to 21:30 at Hallowtree
